Multi-agency working: overview

As you will have found at the planning stage, working with other agencies is often either essential or highly desirable for your project. Their involvement may be focused around a particular aspect of the work, such as recruiting participants, or they may be collaborating with you to design, deliver and evaluate the project. It is worth remembering that multi-agency working should not be seen as an end in itself, but rather as a means to an agreed end. Everyone involved in the project team needs to make sure that the focus is external (on the community) not internal (on the project team/ agencies).
