Risks: what might go wrong?
Things do go wrong in community engagement processes, particularly when planning events. You will need to map out risks in the following areas and decide how to minimise or address them.
Think about health and safety, emergency procedures and liability/indemnity as they apply to:
- permanent staff
- volunteers
- participants
- technology
- facilities/premises
- transport and logistics
- resources and budgeting
